Hosting a game of GiftTrails makes you the event planner. Select your favorite riddles & clues and set your secret trail up in advance. The riddles are the playing cards. The puzzles are PDF downloads off this website.
The game is designed to be shared over and over again by family and friend. Built for any gift giving occasion, for Hunter’s of all ages. Get started with our deck of 200 playing cards, which correspond to hiding locations found in most anybody’s home.
Pick the clues you like. Pit your imagination against theirs. Set your gift at the trail’s end. Challenge your Hunter to slay the clues and claim their prize.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose which cards to use?
Completely up to you, and the fun of the game. You can string as many of them together as you wish for your hunt, but don’t recommend more than 10-12. Especially if you are combining Setups with the clues. If you are overwhelmed by your choices, check our Master List of objects and hiding spots that come with your Card Deck. Be sure to spread the hunt out, do not cluster all the clues in the same area, as the recipient might discover them out of order.
Do I need to register as a Member to play?
Membership will deepen your level of play with the additional puzzles, tasks, challenges and brain teasers that are available to you right here on this website. Mix & match them into your game and enjoy the laughs. Membership is free with the four digit code that comes with your Card Deck. No registration required. But no, you do not need to become a Member to play GiftTrails. The playing cards in and of themselves are all you need to challenge your Hunter and set your trail!
How much prep work is involved as the Host?
The answer depends on how intricate, challenging and fun you want to make the experience. For the youngest of gift recipients, a set of six easy clues can take five minutes to setup. For the more challenging 10-12 clue hunt, with Setups and Tasks to be performed, advanced prep work is required. See our Setups section for training videos.

The gift giver selects from our Card Deck of 200 riddles. These cards are clever clues that are assigned to hundreds of various objects and/or locations in your own home. The recipient receives the first clue from the gift giver, and sets off on the adventure. One clue leads to the next, and then the next, and finally the grand prize, their present. The possibilities are infinite.
